After removing tile or carpet from concrete any adhesive that remains must be removed before applying any finishes or polishing the concrete.
The removers used vary from citric acid to a solvent based for those difficult to remove adhesives. This is not a small job.
The adhesive is scraped off, and if necessary additional applications of the remover may need to be applied. Once there is no glue remaining, the concrete is rinsed thoroughly and then allowed to dry.
